June 20 2016: The birthday continues

Matt's job during this process was running fish guts over the cliff and below the tide line (more on this later)
and, in a part of the job he shares with Oksanna, keeping us all light and happy. (Another of Oksanna's unofficial jobs is photo journalist, particularly when it comes to documenting beauty.)

For the entertainment portion of the evening, we had the Davids
on one side of the sitting area and the Miss Gladys faction of the Moore clan on the other. Both sides know what to do with a guitar. David N and Sarah know how to use such an opportunity

Another guitar player in our summer family is Austin, who likes to sit on the front porch in his onesie (that he insists is properly called a Union Suit) and sing songs that are on the favorites list of many if not all of us.
Here he is with David D, also in his crew onesie, who is about to clean a fish.

When Matt took the fish remains down to feed the seagulls and eagles, Oksanna went with him and recorded the seagulls in her phone. Matt recorded them in his mind, and then in his body.

Now, you tell me - can Matt pass for seagull?

But wait, there's more. Here's how the solstice ended here on the Naknek beach today.
