Pre-season days - June 4, Day 5

The Internet is squirrely today. And with no phone yet, it’s like it was only a few years ago, and yet somehow, it felt awfully isolated. I went into town to use the Internet connection at the library and the phone at the town’s grocery store. The refrigeration expert at AGS, our fish buyer, looked at the freezer and found that the temperature control device on the freezer was faulty. So Roy ordered a new one and we should have a working freezer in a few days.

The tundra is beginning to green – I think the rain helped with that. And the wind came from the southwest for a little while today. That’s my favorite wind.
